Saadani National Park

Saadani park is where the beach meets the bush. The only wildlife sanctuary in East Africa to boast an Indian ocean beach front, It possesses all the attributes that makes Tanzania's tropical coastline and island so popular with European sun worshipers. Encounters with elephants, lions, leopards, giraffes although it's possible but harder to see lions. Boat trip on the Wami river is also one among the activities with a high chance of seeing hippos and Crocodiles.

Amani Nature Reserve

Mkomazi National Park

The park is found In Northern Tanzania between two regions, Kilimanjaro and Tanga, stretching within two districts Lushoto and Same. The park has a size of 3245 km.sq. The name Mkomazi came from the pare tribe, which means little water that can't fill up a wooden spoon. This was due to scarcity of water in the park.

ATTRACTIONS: Diversity of flora and fauna, the only protected area in Tanzania with a large and visible population of Gerenuk. Endangered species particularly Black rhino and Wild dog. The rhino are in the sanctuary but will be released soon. Large population of big and small mammals including Wild cats, silver backed jackal, Lions, Cheetah, Leopard, Lesser kudu, Giraffes, Grant's gazelle, Hyenas Hartebeest, Warthogs, Buffaloes, Elephants, Zebra, Reptiles, Python, Birds More than 450 species of birds including, Tawny eagles, Go away birds.

Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Crater is a 600-meter deep Crater. The Crater has a 19 kilometer diameter, making it one of the world's largest unbroken and unflooded calderas. The park covers approximately 300 square-kilometers, where the landscape ranges from lush rainforest on the rim, to bush savannas' and acacia woodland.

Ngorongoro is home to the highly endangered black rhino and large herds of wildebeest, zebra and buffalo. Predators such as lions, cheetahs & several cats also live in the Crater; here there is plenty of opportunity to spot a hunt and the infamous Big Five. We will enjoy a picnic lunch before leaving the Crater - where plenty of wildlife can still be spotted. We will begin our drive back to Moshi/Arusha in the late afternoon.

MAGOROTO FOREST

Serengeti

Serengeti is one of Tanzania's oldest and largest national parks, covering an area of 14,763 square-kilometers. The park is a world heritage site, with the earth's largest concentration of plains game - mainly wildebeest and zebra. Which are in abundance, especially during the annual migration. The population of plains game also includes buffalo, giraffe and warthog, as well as a wide range of antelopes including, Thomson's and Grant's gazelle, dikdik, bushbuck, eland and impala. Apart from Ngorongoro, the Serengeti is one of the best places to see predators in action. Predators include large clans of hyenas, lion prides, cheetahs and the hardest to spot, leopards.
